Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and nri.to Inc. ("nri.to", "we", "us"), a Delaware corporation with operations in Kochi, Kerala, India. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the nri.to platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

nri.to is a concierge platform that lets non-resident clients delegate on-the-ground tasks in Kerala — such as land tax payments, plot maintenance, document procurement, and family care errands — to vetted local agents. We coordinate execution, collect proof of completion (photos, video, GPS coordinates, receipts), and deliver it to you through your account.

nri.to is not a law firm, financial institution, or government body. Where a task involves statutory offices (panchayat, taluk, Sub-Registrar), our agents act as your authorised representative only to the extent permitted by applicable law and any authorisation you provide.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use nri.to. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide — including property details, addresses, and contact information for family members — and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Every service displays a fixed fee and an estimated service-level window before you order. Fees are charged against your nri.to wallet balance when an order is placed. Statutory charges (e.g. the land tax amount itself, stamp duty, government fees) are separate from our service fee and are itemised in your order.

If a task cannot be completed — for example, an office rejects a filing or a property cannot be accessed — we will notify you and handle the fee under our Refund policy.

Proof artefacts (geo-tagged photos, video, scanned receipts) are provided for your verification and record-keeping. GPS coordinates are captured on a best-effort basis and may carry the accuracy limitations of consumer devices.

You may not use nri.to to request anything unlawful, to harass any person, to misrepresent your authority over a property or document, or to circumvent Indian or local regulations. We may refuse, pause, or cancel any order that we reasonably believe violates law or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nri.to's aggregate liability arising out of any order is limited to the service fee you paid for that order. We are not liable for delays caused by government offices, weather, strikes (harthals), or other events outside our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified through the platform or by email. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (fees owed, liability limits, dispute terms) will survive.
