1. What we collect
To operate your account and execute orders, we collect: your name and email (via Google sign-in), property details you add (location, survey numbers, access notes), order details and instructions, wallet transactions, and the proof artefacts our agents capture on your behalf (photos, video, GPS coordinates, receipts).
2. How we use it
We use your information to execute the tasks you order, verify completion, maintain your Property Vault, process wallet payments, provide support, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who sees it
The vetted local agent assigned to your order sees only what they need to complete it — the task details, relevant property information, and any documents you attach. Government offices see what a filing legally requires. Our infrastructure providers (hosting, authentication, email) process data under contractual safeguards.
4. GPS and proof data
GPS coordinates and geo-tagged media are captured by our agents during task execution to give you verifiable proof. This data is stored with your order history and is visible only to you and nri.to staff who support your account.
5. Data retention
Order records, receipts, and proof artefacts are retained while your account is active because they often serve as your long-term property records. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except where law requires longer retention (e.g. financial records).
6. International transfers
nri.to serves a global diaspora: data may be processed in India and the United States. We apply the same protections regardless of where processing occurs.
7. Your choices
You can access and update your profile and property details in the app, export your proof artefacts, and request account deletion at any time. For any privacy request, email privacy@nri.to.
8. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you through the platform or by email before they take effect. See also our Terms of Service.
