Refund Policy

Fixed fees deserve clear refund rules. Here's exactly what happens when a task can't be completed.

1. Cancelling before work starts

You can cancel any order while it is still pending — before an agent has been dispatched or work has begun. Pending-order cancellations are refunded 100% to your nri.to wallet, usually instantly.

2. If we can't complete the task

If a task fails for reasons on our side — an agent cannot be assigned within the service window, or we made an execution error — you receive a full refund of the service fee, plus any statutory amounts that were not actually paid to a government office.

3. If the task is blocked externally

Sometimes a task is blocked by factors outside anyone's control: a government office rejects a filing, a property is inaccessible, or documents you supplied are incomplete. In these cases we refund the unused portion of the service fee after deducting reasonable costs already incurred (e.g. agent travel), and we tell you exactly what was deducted and why.

4. Statutory payments

Amounts paid to government bodies on your behalf (land tax, stamp duty, registration fees) are not refundable by nri.to once paid — the stamped receipt in your vault is proof the payment reached its destination.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds are credited to your nri.to wallet immediately upon approval. If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, contact support — bank processing typically takes 5–10 business days.

6. Raising a dispute

If you believe a completed order didn't meet its description, raise it within 14 days of completion via support@nri.to. We review the proof artefacts with you and resolve most disputes within 5 business days. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
